Town crier welcomes vistors at Ogden Point Victoria Times Colonist - June 28, 2009
A town crier frozen in a permanent pose of greeting is the latest symbol to welcome visitors to Victoria. The friendly image comes in the form of a bronze statue, erected at Ogden Point through the efforts of the Victoria A.M. Association.

Olympians have place to call home Victoria Times Colonist - October 3, 2008
Rowing eights coxswain Brian Price and Paralympics swimmer Stephanie Dixon both returned from Beijing with gold this summer. Yesterday they officially helped unveil the $28-million first phase of the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence, from which future Olympians are expected to emerge. Price and Dixon pulled the cover from the $150,000 bronze statue Equilibrium, by local sculptor Armando Barbon, which greets athletes and visitors as they walk into the institute.
